WHICH SESSION IS RIGHT FOR YOU?

NEWBIE WATER ACCLIMATION - Your Newf may or may not have dipped their toe in the water, but they haven't really gotten in the water.  In fact, they may have never seen or gotten in the water before except for a bath.  This class will be focused on properly and safely acclimating Newfs to the water.  Please bring a lifejacket for your pup if you have one.  We will have a few extras on hand also to borrow. The goal will be water introduction, not water skills.

BEGINNER WATER WORK - Your Newf has been acclimated to the water and enjoys it.  All they know may be basic water play and you want to begin to teach them the Beginner Water Dog skills such as retrieving, swimming, going to others in the water, approaching a boat.  The emphasis in this class will be on demonstrating and practicing the skills that are part of the new Beginner Water Dog Test.  We will also work on land-based obedience that is part of the test.
